Sarah Marchese is one of North America’s top real estate agents with over $2 billion in sales. Between her boutique agency in Canada where she’s specialized in selling skyrise condominiums for international developers since 2000, and her diverse portfolio of west coast clients at The Jason Mitchell Group Beverly Hills, Sarah represents individuals in all aspects of the industry.
Real estate might just be in her DNA. Growing up, Sarah spent weekends helping her mother grow her Toronto-based real estate empire. In high school, she began rising through the ranks, starting at front desk reception as a teenager before becoming an office administrator and learning all the backroom legalities of the industry. Soon, she became a new development sales expert, followed by a residential resale agent.
Early in her career, Sarah attracted numerous partnerships with the best of the best in Canada including Minto Group Inc., Mod Developments, Graywood, Daniels, Great Gulf Homes, CamrostFelcorp, and Monarch Developments. When the market destabilized in 2008, she recognized an opportunity to create a new hybrid business by combining her years of new developer experience with her knowledge of resale. Leveraging proven relationships with builders who were stuck with their remaining unsold inventory that was priced higher than the market value, Sarah took all remaining builder inventory and listed it on the MLS.
The results? With zero overhead, she saved her partners millions of dollars in operating expenses and sold all properties for what is still considered the highest price per square foot in Canada. Consequently, the Canadian housing market recovered much more quickly than in the U.S. Today, Sarah’s Toronto-based boutique agency has expanded into a full slate of services including listings, open houses, and resale.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2011, Sarah diversified her experience when she started working with one of the top vacation home leasing firms in Beverly Hills dealing in $10,000-100,000 leases in the beautiful neighborhoods of Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, Hollywood Hills, Sunset Plaza, Malibu, and The Palisades. In 2018, her Los Angeles-based business supports a diverse clientele with real estate goals and needs that are unique to the individual.
